JD is a Toronto-based theatre technician and playwright. They are currently in their second year of the Performance Production program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Recent technical credits include Assistant Technical Director for EnChoreo at TMU, and Stage Manager for the Circus Festival in Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Québec. Their creative work explores topics such as immigrant families, modern Arab culture, and the relationship between music and mental health.
