I love telling empowering stories on pressing community issues in Canada and globally. In India, I worked in the advertising & non-profit space, and co-founded a social startup ‘Ufaan.org’. In Canada, I started my film career with '14.02', 'The Musk Deer' and ‘Ammi’ - films written and directed by me, and screened at various film festivals in North America and South Asia. These films are my trailers of entertaining queer stories in a non-clichéd fashion. The issues pertaining to the lives of LGBTQ+, People of Color, and Newcomers to Canada are of particular interest to me, which can be seen in my films. Currently, in 2021, I'm writing a feature film based on my short films, in collaboration with a Toronto-based Indian producer.
