I am an actor, writer and director, born in Zimbabwe and based in Toronto. I am a proud graduate of Concordia University, and former member of the African Students' Association. My work includes theatre, film, television, and voice. I seek to represent myself as the best multi-hyphenate artist I can be, as well as do my part to uplift artists from marginalized groups and help them be recognized in the global North. I enjoy the process of making art, as as I cultivate a state of flow through my work, filling it with enthusiasm, precision and passion. As much as I want to spread a positive message of unity at a time like this, this is the way I hit back, and affirm that I won't be kept to the side or rendered second-rate based on the unearned privilege of nationality, and neither should anybody else.
