James B. Elloso, he/him, is an international student from the Philippines who lived in Bahrain, a small island country in the Middle East, for a decade until he moved to Canada to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. After two years in the program, however, he decided to pursue his passion for film and writing instead, through the Stage and Screen diploma program at Memorial University of Newfoundland. James loves storytelling in all of its forms, be it photography, films, novels, or plays. Through his own stories, he hopes to inspire wonder and mindfulness for nature, including the human condition, because that too is part of nature.
