Nia Osei is a Ghanaian-American playwright, director, writer, poet, and art-creator. She’s someone that loves to speak, write, dance, perform and have discussions about Black mental health, Black experiences, and Black stories. She graduated from York University’s Theatre and Creative Writing program. As much as she loves to create in front of the camera and audiences, behind the scenes is work she admires as well. Nia thrives to inspire many young Black and African children to no longer suppress what’s inside but to acknowledge the strength that lies in vulnerability and expression.
