Weaving together the stories of care partners, it lifts the veil on what it is to love someone living with the disease as time becomes non-linear, transporting you from the present to the past to an uncertain future. Along with rich, unforgettable individual storytelling, these narratives are woven into music performed by the Golden Threads Choir - a unique ensemble of people living with dementia along with their care partners - whose singing illicits joy, connectedness, and relationship to memories. This multidisciplinary production showcases the songs, stories, visual art and voices of people living with dementia in addition to those of their loved ones, capturing the essential fabric of community and connection at its core.
