Pablo Oluwademilade Ogunlesi is Nigerian-Canadian actor, director and playwright based in Toronto and Atlanta. Pablo was born in England, raised in Nigeria and lived in Switzerland before he migrated to Canada. He studied Theatre Acting and Production at the Toronto Metropolitan University, where he attained a B.F.A. Since then, Pablo wrote, produced, co-directed and starred in 'Black President' a cultural and political play about post-colonial Nigeria, through the perspective of musical genius and activist Fela Kuti. Pablo also starred in 'So Speaks The Land' which was performed in Australia, Vietnam and Canada.
2021/22 marked 35 years of Cahoots Theatre, and the conclusion of our season brought with it our return to the stage after two years exclusively in the online realm. In 2022/23 we are thrilled to be continue engaging in living performance, and to also share online community initiatives that allow us to interact with, get to know, and have artistic explorations with the public. We can't wait!
